Frequently asked questions
What is Curio?
Curio, or Curio Card Game, is a free-to-play trading card game where knowledge shapes the battle. Collect curiosities, discover their stories, then build winning strategies, against bots and friends, in English and French.
Is Curio free?
Yes. The whole game is free: every mode, every deck, and one booster every 12 hours, with up to two in reserve. Nothing is for sale during the beta.
Which devices can I play on?
Any recent browser, on phone, tablet or computer. Curio installs like an app straight from the browser. Android, iOS and Steam versions are planned for the public release.
Do I need to know everything to win?
No. Knowledge gives you an edge, alongside your deck and your decisions. Every answer comes with its source: next time, you will know.
Where do the cards come from?
Each card starts from a Wikipedia article and keeps its title, revision and CC BY-SA 4.0 licence. Illustrations come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences, credited to their authors. Curio is not affiliated with the Wikimedia Foundation.
Who makes Curio?
Curio is published by Paul MARTINS. To reach us: contact@getcurio.app.
How do I join the beta?
The beta is open: sign in to the game with your Google account.
